Mustang Mach-E is distinguished predominantly in two segments Extended Range and Standard Range.

Ford Mustang GT v/s Ford Mustang Mach-E
Let's start with the biggest difference and that would be on the Mach-E’s side and that would be power and torque that both the Mustangs generate. Mustang Mach-E is more powerful than Mustang GT 5.0 V8.
Power | Torque | |
Mustang GT 5.0 | 460 Horsepower | 420 Lb-ft |
Mustang Mach-E | 480 Horsepower | 428 Lb-ft |
As it clearly is visible that Mustang Mach-E is slightly more powerful than iconic American legend Mustang GT. But it doesn't end there, Mustang GT needs gas which will cost you while Mustang Mach-E is electric! You just need to charge and your sports performance is at your command. This proves that Mach-E is far more economical
How fast is Mach-E?
Mach-E with humongous torque and high efficient battery can go from 0-60mph in mid 3 seconds.
The Speed and acceleration depends on which trim and range you select.
For standard Range, the 0-60 time can be 5.8 seconds for RWD drivetrain while 5.2 seconds for eAWD. While for extended range, the 0-60 can be as low as 3.5 seconds which is the benchmark for performance vehicles.
Which are the powertrains that are available for Mach-E?
To manage such power house, Ford had to develop a new breed of powertrain which offers two options
- RWD (Rear Wheel Drive)
- eAWD (Electronic All Wheel Drive)
eAWD proves to be more responsive and delivers more performance when compared to RWD as it provides better traction than the later.
But RWD drive provides better range on single charge, so if you are not looking for a power drive, RWD is recommended as you can go more in single charge.
Which are the trims that are available for Mustang Mach-E?
Mustang is people's favorite sports car and Mach-E needs to keep up to it, Mach-E also is offered in trims that will make sure that one is available for anyone who aspires for the same.
